Pledge Manager Progress
We opened the BackerKit pledge manager last week and 80% of you have already completed it! Thank you so much!
If you have not already completed please do so when possible. The pledge manager will close on December 7th and orders will be locked in at that point and your payment method will be charged for any balance remaining for shipping and/or taxes.
Please note, you must enter your complete address for it to calculate the correct shipping rate, if your address is incomplete, it will default to the highest possible shipping rate and appear to be ridiculously high. If you have any issues with getting it to calculate the correct rate, please shoot me an e-mail at [email protected] with your full shipping address and I will get it sorted out for you.
If you have not completed your BackerKit pledge manager survey, you will receive a reminder e-mail today.
New Quebec City Local Pickup Option!
We added a new pickup point for backers in or near Quebec City at “La Pioche”. If you live in Quebec City or close by, you can pickup the game at the store for a flat fee of $5.00 CAD.
If you would like this option, please change the Country field in your address from Canada to “Local Pickup” and send me an e-mail at [email protected] confirming you would like to pickup your game at La Pioche.

Si vous ne l'avez pas encore fait, merci de le compléter dès que possible. Le gestionnaire des commandes fermeras le 7 décembre et les commandes seront alors traitées. Votre méthode de paiement sera débitée pour tout solde restant, y compris pour les frais de port et/ou les taxes.
Veuillez noter que vous devez entrer votre adresse complète pour que le calcul des frais de transport soit correct. Si votre adresse est incomplète, elle sera par défaut associée au tarif d'expédition le plus élevé, ce qui pourrait paraître excessivement élevé. Si vous rencontrez des problèmes pour obtenir le bon tarif, envoyez-moi un email à [email protected] avec votre adresse complète et je m'occuperai de le régler pour vous.
Nouvelle option de ramassage local à Québec !
Nous avons ajouté un nouveau point de ramassage pour les contributeurs situés à Québec ou à proximité, au magasin "La Pioche". Si vous vivez à Québec ou dans ses environs, vous pouvez récupérer le jeu en magasin pour un frais de 5,00 $ CAD. Si vous souhaitez cette option, veuillez modifier votre "Country" dans votre adresse en sélectionnant "Local Pickup", puis envoyez-moi un e-mail à [email protected] pour confirmer que vous souhaitez récupérer votre jeu à La Pioche.

If you did not already receive your BackerKit pledge manager survey link, you will receive it today. The e-mail will come from me Roberto Panetta with the subject line "Response Needed — Get your reward for Gems of Iridescia | A Competitive Gem Mining Board Game".
You MUST complete the survey for us to be able to ship you your reward.

Local Delivery and Local Pickup in Montreal, QC
If you are in the greater Montreal area you can choose to have Local Pickup at Chez Geeks (1460 Rue Jean-Talon E A, Montréal, QC H2E 3B5) or local delivery. Both options will cost $5 CAD. For both options you must change your Country from "Canada" to "Local Pickup". If you have any issues or would like to confirm whether or not your address qualifies for local delivery, please send me an e-mail at [email protected] and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Pickup at BoardGameBliss in Richmond Hill, ON
We now have a second local pickup point for backers near Richmond Hill, ON at BoardGameBliss (5-245 West Beaver Creek Rd Richmond Hill, ON L4B 1L1).
The fee for local pickup at BoardGameBliss will be $5 CAD.
If you would like to pickup your order at BoardGameBliss, complete your survey as normal by entering your full address and confirming your payment method. It will show the full shipping charge for your address. Then please e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject line "Pickup at BoardGameBliss", I will go in and manually credit you the difference so that the shipping will only cost you $5 CAD. I apologize for the extra step, but it is due to some limitations with the BackerKit tax setup options.

Good afternoon explorers!
Yesterday we opened the BackerKit pledge manager survey to friends and family to work out some kinks. The survey is used for you to confirm your order, applicable taxes and shipping details.
Today we will do what is called a “Smoke Test”. 5% of backers in each pledge level will receive their survey. If you do receive it today, it would be greatly appreciated if you could complete it in a timely manner to make sure there are no more issues before we send it out to everyone.
If you do encounter an issue or have any questions please send me a message either here through Kickstarter, or e-mail me at [email protected] and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
You won’t get charged anything until we lock the orders, so we have time to fix any discrepancies.

Greetings explorers! I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween!
A brief update today. It took a little longer than expected to receive the funds from Kickstarter, but we finally received them this week!
Our BackerKit pledge manager survey is complete and has been submitted to BackerKit for review. The review takes 1-2 business days. Once the review is complete, we will do what is called a smoke test where about 5% of backers will receive their survey. This allows us to test it and make sure there aren’t any issues before rolling it out to everyone.
For those of you new to crowdfunding, the pledge manager survey is where you will confirm your order and shipping details. If your shipping address might change between now and fulfilment, don't worry, you'll receive another chance to update your address prior to us shipping your order.

It has been two weeks today since the Gems of Iridescia campaign ended so I wanted to give a quick update!

As we wait for Kickstarter to finish gathering funds to send our way, I am currently working on the BackerKit surveys which are almost complete. I expect to finalize the surveys next week so that we can get them out to you very soon!
